And this might surge to 82M by 2030, 87M by 2050.<br /><br />Total working age population (18-60) is ~215M now, in 2030 it will be ~230M, and 2050 around 270M.<br /><br />So we're going to have the bodies at least.<br /><br />15M more workers in 2030 is a 1M/yr add-in, what the economy has to grow above and beyond everything else.<br /><br />(We will see the 80M boomers leave the workforce by 2030, but the bb echo is the same size so there will be no net space made for Generation Z with that generational transition.)<br /><br />Not really sure what all these people are going to be doing in 2030, but they better be staying off my lawn.Troynoreply@blogger.com
