I live in the USA and I am concerned about the future. I created this blog to share my thoughts on the economy and anything else that might catch my attention.

Chinese Bubble Mania (Musical Tribute)
Spent cash on China's highways
Trillions on a dare
Warm smell of inflation
Gasoline price despair
What's ahead in the distance?
Are we planning our next fight?
My bills grow heavy and my cash grows slim
Got a payday loan last night
My IRA trades sideways
I hear the closing bell
And I was thinking to myself
Should I be buying or should I just sell?
China's up while I fiddle
And it blows me away
Some shorted stocks to their horror
I thought I saw them pay
Welcome to the Chinese bubble mania
Such a lovely pace
Such a lovely craze
Plenty of cash in the Chinese bubble mania
Any time of year, you can go long there
Billions are tiffany-twisted, they're buying mercedes benz
They've got a lot of paper, paper cash, that we once sent
They drive from the shipyards, sweet lucky bets
More drive we remember, more drive we regret
So I called up my broker
Margin would be fine
He said, "You haven't had that spirit here since nineteen ninety nine"
And still those dollars I'm sending so far away
Wake me up in the middle of the night
As I bet my pay
Welcome to the Chinese bubble mania
Such a lovely pace
Such a lovely craze
We're livin' it up in the Chinese bubble mania
What a nice surprise, hope they tell no lies
Mirrors out the rear view
Makes me load up my dice
And it seems we are all just prisoners here
Of our own device
And in the crowded markets
We gathered for the feast
'flation stabs with its steely knives
The Fed just can't kill the beast
Last think I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to repatriate dollars
To where they were once before
"Relax," said the "blind" man
Stocks are programmed don't you see
You can buy them any time you like
But you can never leave!
