King County requires life jackets five feet from rivers' shore
Technically, Lambert said you can get a ticket for standing in ankle deep water six feet from shore.
Guess which county/country I live in. Sigh.
We don't need a weakened government but a strong government that would take responsibility for the rights of the individual and care for the society as a whole. - Vladimir Putin
Here are some other life saving ideas:
ReplyDelete- smoke detector and fire extinguisher in every room of every house and office building, with proof of inspection every 6 months (jobs!)
- must wear a chew meter if eating any kind of meat that will not allow you to swallow before 16 chews
- tree climbing training and license required if climbing more than 3 feet above ground.
- kevlar suit must be worn before any kind of lawn care or gardening
note: forwarded to King County Council.
Mr Slippery,
ReplyDeleteHahaha!
SurvivaBall
Survivaball is amazing. I was mesmerized.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you find this stuff?
Just great. :)
The SurvivaBall was part of this movie as was the following real life hoax.
ReplyDeleteBhopal Disaster - BBC - The Yes Men
They really did pretend to be spokesmen for Dow Chemical and that really was breaking news, lol.
So, if you want to spend some time swimming under water, I guess you have to wear lead weights to offset the life jackets?
ReplyDeletefoo,
ReplyDeleteCan't be lead due to environmental concerns.
Can't be aluminum hats. Too light.
Golden crowns!
The king is dead. He was last seen bobbing upside down in a local river. Long live the king.
King County, where true Californians come to "live free." People think Nancy (botox queen) Pelosi is liberal. She can't hold a candle to Jim McDermott, the "people's" psychiatrist.
ReplyDeleteMr. Slippery, you could well be the next King of King County with those oh so safe, safety regulations. Well played, sir.
Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteThe King of King County!
I love it.
I picture him fining the "Lady of the Lake" $86 for not wearing a life preserver, lol.
I apologize for not posting much lately. I've been kind of busy.
ReplyDeleteI posted this on the TIP message board for those interested though.
