Real E-Commerce Retail Sales per Civilian Employed
Those under the age of 16 are also not part of the civilian labor force and neither are those who are institutionalized (can't be in jail *and* unemployed).
Hey, at least this economic exponential trend failure is hobbling along like a wounded animal. That's better than most of them.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I'm trying to remember the last time I spoke to an employed customer service representative when making a purchase online.
If memory serves, the answer is never. Sigh.
Who falls into the category non-civilian? Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard? Is that the lot?
ReplyDeleteActually, there might be a silver lining here. Perhaps we've seen peak "malling" in America.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I'm almost certain the "mauling" of the middle class will continue. The looting apparatus remains in place.
