Nondurable Goods Employment: The Good News

The Good News

1. This isn't 1939! World War II didn't start in September!
2. We "clawed" our way back to the 5-year moving average!
3. There are only 4.5 million jobs left to lose!
4. We don't seem to lose any jobs while stuck in ZIRP!
5. At least not yet!

I can't say with 100% certainty that all of those items are actually good news, but surely at least one of them must be! Right?

  3. Sporkfed,

I have found the rhetoric about factory work bringing up the typical standard of living for Chinese workers over the long-term to be fairly durable. :(

  4. Joseph Constable,

Can you imagine the prosperity we'd have if durable bombs could be made? We could reuse them endlessly!

    Sigh.
