I live in the USA and I am concerned about the future. I created this blog to share my thoughts on the economy and anything else that might catch my attention.
Here's what gets me. He keeps calling restaurant performance "D-List" data as if it is a fact. In my opinion, it is simply an opinion and one I do not share.
Note that there was a glimmer of hope that we were moving up and away from the most recent trend line in red. However, that's not been the case since April. I might even be so bold as to suggest that it has a certain return to the trend line look about it.
Calculated Risk will still keep reporting the restaurant and architecture and hotel indexes proclaiming the recovery.

Eating Out vs. Eating at Home
In hindsight, does that look like D-List data?
This is where we are as of June. I don't think it's going to hold long-term.
