I live in the Seattle area.
The Seahawks have adopted an "Illusion of Scoring" game plan today.
Here's the score at the end of the first half.
Giants: 35
Seahawks: 0
If this isn't a sign that Seattle area housing prices are still too high, then I don't know what is.
We've already lost our NBA team and now our football team is playing like a baseball team, lol.

Well at least the Giants are a good team! My Patriots were blown out by the Browns! I would be more upset but it was almost comical to watch.
GYSC,
If only the Seahawks would have been allowed to use deficit scoring! We could have borrowed the touchdowns from future games to "win" in the present!
Where's Krugnan when we need him!! ;)
Just think of it; excess touchdowns for use in the NFL! Just like excess reserves at the banks! Maybe every team can be 16-0!
GYSC,
Every team is a winner! I like it!
We could transform Superbowl rings into Perfect Attendance rings in honor of the banking system's tried and tested "ability to fog a mirror" mortgage application screening procedures!
GYSC,
Better yet, let's just combine football and banking.
"It's 4th down and 21percent interest on credit cards! Hail Mary? Nope. Onside kick to the test... um, well, you know."
Hey, the Sounders are entertaining.
Good place to catch a game.
Anonymous,
And let's not forget the Seattle Thunderbirds. I've seen them a few times.
Seattle Thunderbirds
The first time I saw a game it confirmed a long standing joke.
I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out, lol.
Every person on both teams was involved in the fight. What I found most interesting was how well executed it was. For example, both goalies fought each other and every other person knew that was the way of things. It isn't easy to do of course. They start off very far apart from each other and have to work their way through the fight to get to each other, lol.
Oh, and let's not forget the grandstanding where both goalies need to make eye contact and confirm that they must do battle. Very amusing!
Shame on me for thinking so. It had a certain staged feeling about it though. Even if it was meant solely to entertain (which I suspect it was), then it worked.
