The following chart shows the 12-month moving average of annualized production and nonsupervisory employee hours worked per capita in sporting goods stores, women's clothing stores, and hobby, toys, and game stores. I'm attempting to track an old school Christmas gift theme (a little something for everyone).

Hey, how about that 500 DOW point rally in 2 days based on no deal between Congress and the President to open the government or borrow more to pay what can only be paid by borrowing more.
Market regulators are gone and impotent when they are not gone. I LOL when thinking about the dysfunction, systemic fraud, and cronyism that is America. I guess China is worse, but in a different way.
Mr Slippery,
It's great that we aren't getting much economic data from our government these days.
Long live the "no news is good news" dum dum sucker pop rally!
The Mystery Flavor continuously changes and according to Spangler Candy Company, the mystery flavor is not limited to the current Dum Dums flavor mix. The flavor is created when production switches from one flavor to another. Instead of taking the time to clean out machinery, two different flavors are merged, meaning a mystery flavor can be a different combination every time.
It's a mystery!
