Analysis: Good economic news something of a mirage
When you look closely, "you do see some dark economic clouds in the silver linings," said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Economy.com. "The darkness is much greater than any sunshine."
The article has it all.
There's employment, productivity miracles, Fed Chairmen, inflation, hints of stagflation, deflation, trade deficits, oil, debt, slowing growth, housing, the US Dollar, falling interest rates, and talk of recessions. I can't seem to find a single thing in it to heckle.
She's not even a rocket scientist. Go figure.
