Maybe our kids are smarter than we think, maybe even smarter than the government.
This was a theoretical question for American students and clearly not one based on OUR reality. Can we really blame them for answering it incorrectly though? Further, can we PROVE they were wrong? Based on anecdotal evidence, it seems the MORE we trade the crappier our stuff gets. But hey, maybe that's just me.

Some will forgive you for sending us tainted toothpaste, pet and sea food and lousy tires - but mess with our children's toys and you are looking for trouble!
Then again, maybe our 12th graders were simply harboring a grudge. We'll never know.
I should probably add that the quality of exports (US Dollars) we're sending China isn't exactly holding up so well either.
