Wall Street up on consumer spending data
The S&P 500 closed above 1,200 for the first time in two weeks as traders seized on better than expected consumer spending figures to propel a broad market rally.

Grilled cheese with a tech twist in San Francisco
NPD Group restaurant analyst Bonnie Riggs says Kaplan's idea sounds interesting, but he warns that the restaurant industry overall has just gone through "the most prolonged period of weakness we've ever experienced" with eight straight quarters of declining customer traffic.
