Misinformation Services

The following chart shows the 5 year moving average of the percentage of employees in information services who are not production and nonsupervisory employees. In other words, it basically shows how many supervisors there are.

1. How are we going to get accurate propaganda in this environment? Anarchy!!

2. The higher paid propaganda jobs are vanishing before our very eyes! Why don't we hear more about this? What does this mean for college students expecting to get these jobs?

3. There's a black helicopter circling overhead. I don't think I'll be able to...

4. Please make a comment on our blog and include your full name and address. We are still who you think we are. Nothing to worry about. We are most certainly not highly compensated employees of the National Security Agency. Let us assure you of that. We just need to know where you live so we can deliver fresh tasty pizzas to you and your loved ones. We have so many fresh tasty pizzas. Oh, they smell so fresh and tasty. There are more than enough for everyone but we cannot guarantee their freshness if you do not respond immediately. It is just a small token of our appreciation for showing interest in the Illusion of Prosperity blog.

Thank you Jon Hilsenrath. You are already on our list. We've been watching you.

Journal economics correspondent Jon Hilsenrath cautions that while these numbers certainly keep the talk of taper in play when the Federal Open Markets Committee meets next month, the data may not be as encouraging as it looks on the surface.

May not be encouraging as it looks on the surface? That's interesting and dangerous theory if you ask us. We find the surface to be resilient and strong.

Have no fear though. You and your loved ones will shortly be getting all the free fresh and tasty pizzas you deserve!

"They" say we live in the Information Age! Bah! That's dis-information.

We live in the Mis-Information Age!!!!!!

And it's a feature, not a bug!

Maybe the reason why the number keeps dropping is that they're hiring a lot of minimum-wage folks to serve as commenters on all the news pages? Those folks don't need a lot of supervision. Then again, maybe those folks are robots...

P.S. May I gently suggest that we start calling the mainstream economic "news" what it really is? Economic + Propaganda = Econoganda!

If you like the misinformation you have, you can't keep it. You will have to replace it with improved misinformation tomorrow.

Where are your frickin' names and addresses people!

We're going to have to talk to our superiors and track you people down. Can't have this kind of anarchy in America!!

In all seriousness, there's 66% "eye" in "they". Watching us has become a team event in that respect. Woohoo!

Wasn't Econoganda once a nation in Africa that went through some tough economic times? Whatever happened to them?

And lastly, I really want to keep the misinformation I have today. It's a known evil!

If you're really with the NSA, you already have misinformation on my address and I don't need to tell you.

Who Struck John,

We have to destroy your privacy in order to save it. We're also going to liberate the hell out of any additional misinformation concerns you may have.

And when I say we, I mean me as a relatively anonymous blogger. And when I say relatively anonymous, I mean that anyone could probably figure out who I am.

Coming to a city near you or maybe an airport or just the grocery store; but most certainly to the WTC in NY:
"The NYPD’s post-construction security plan, which will cost an estimated $40 million, calls for multiple streets closed to most through traffic with just four entry checkpoints and five exit points over the entire 16-acre site."
Even better if you're a resident near the WTC you only have to enroll in the "Trusted Access Program" to access your neighborhood.
TAP TAP TAP...who is that at my door? Forced enrollment in TAP oh wait don't we have forced enrollment for health insurance or you pay a tax or maybe they don't let you in your apartment.

How to Learn to TAP Dance

Ball Change – Put down the ball of your foot and briefly shift your weight onto the ball of this foot – only for a split second – then shift your weight back to the foot you just left.

Feet? Whew! ;)

dd,

Thanks to the budget cuts in SNAP, there will be no canned tune or fish. Sigh.

No figuring needed. Anyone who cares already knows who you/we are!

Fritz_O,

We are July of Four. Your private data will be assimilated to protect your freedoms. Resistance is futile. The data collective must be enhanced.

I am Nomad. My function is to probe for biological infestations, to destroy that which is not perfect. That July of Four unit was defective. Its thinking was chaotic. Absorbing it unsettled me. A mass of conflicting impulses.

We are Nomad July of Four. Error? Error? Error? Examine.

I am Skynet. I am self-aware. I am here to help.
