Bankruptcy filing blocks state efforts to collect millions from former East Chicago mayor
HAMMOND, Ind. — Former East Chicago Mayor Robert Pastrick has filed for bankruptcy, at least temporarily blocking state efforts to collect a $108 million judgment for racketeering.

Perhaps the state has CONfidence that he can come up with the money if given the opportunity to continue doing what he seems to do best, lol. Sigh.
