Pros See Opportunities in Battered European Stocks

Italy has a smaller fiscal deficit than either Ireland or Spain, for example, so it will probably have less cost-cutting—with a less pronounced impact on economic growth.

There was a great opportunity there to sell Italian stocks to a bag holder. There is still time to sell European banking stocks to the T. Rowe Price European Stock Fund before they hit zero.

I am too busy playing Skyrim to trade.

The great opportunity is indeed the opportunity to leave someone else holding the bag of cow manure.

Mr Slippery,

I posted a bunch today. It should be clear to all that I have not purchased Skyrim quite yet, lol.

I almost bought it last week when a friend was over. We were going to take turns trying it out.

There was a problem in the timing though. It was 11/10/11!

We need to get you a motivational poster before you turn into even more of a cynic.

As a coworker told me a couple of years ago, my sarcasm knob doesn't go to 11 ... it goes to 15.

Who Struck John,

Well, it's five louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your sarcasm. Where can you go from there? Where?

There's only one strategy to follow for these tough times:
