If the mountain will not come to Mahomet, Mahomet must go to the mountain.

If things do not change the way you want them to, you must adjust to the way they are.

Sometimes they carry blocks the size of houses as well just to add to their destructive power, and really there is nothing you can do to mitigate their impact.
