You know, Mark, I recently saw this prediction that TEUs were going up to +8.5%. I meant to send you the article link, but it's been wild and I didn't.

In any case, I just looked at the thing, raised an eyebrow and said "I'll wait for the Snarky Mark data."

The article sounds exactly like something I could have written in this very post! It's uncanny!

TEU counts are basically increasing by 8.5% *if* we assume that the fully loaded containers are only 92.2% full (0.922 * 1.085 = 1).

Not only did TEU counts increase by 8.5% but a legendary sea monster of giant proportions was also released! It's not sarcasm. It's a scientific fact. Invest accordingly!
