The growing popularity of the site, which costs subscribers $175 a year, is testimony to the deep suspicion many Americans harbor about government information as the economy falls into a swoon.
I just checked the site today. It still costs $175 for an annual subscription.
Holy crap! That's at least 5 1/2 years without a price increase! Maybe more! Just look at all that hyperinflation!!
When I was a kid, we used to wak to school and then walk back home. It wasn't so much the 150 degree summers and the 75 below winters that got to us as much as it was the fact that the trip was uphill both ways! Didn't hear us bitch about it though. You can't even observe interest rates elsewhere unless you pay $1,025 per year.
Hey, I wonder if it was really worth $5,125 over the past 5 years to watch this?
It had to be at least as exciting as watching water boil only to realize that the stove hadn't even been turned on, lol.
Some of us bitch about prices for free.

Yeah, we're a force of nature just like bees.
Bees pollinate for free. What gives? It's an invaluable service, just like bitching!
I can't help but wonder if the sudden and unexplained bee die-off isn't really just some commie union agitation.

They could just be trying to mess with Gross Domestic Pollen!
