The Year 2059

It's looking to be quite a year if the long-term trend continues. We'll have zero net worth and/or infinite debt.

I'm looking forward to it. Everyone will be equal. We will all leave our bank owned mansions in the morning, drive with our bank owned cars to a bank owned factory, manufacture more bank owned products before having a bank owned pint in a bank owned pub.

It's like communism just with the word 'bank' instead of 'state'.

Anonymous,

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the bank for ever!

This chart is another clear indicator that there will be some kind of reset, and probably in our life times, Mark.

I would how the lyrics to "In the year 2525" would change if Zager and Evans had this chart.

I would = I wonder. Grrrr.

back out TBTF's debt:

shows we're setting up for a "5 of 5", as ol' KD would say.

It's a race. I intend to win! I figure the stress alone will reduce my lifespan. I may need to take on high risk hobbies to improve my odds though, lol. Sigh.

Troy,

I took your chart into Excel.

The good news is that it buys us some time. 2144!

The bad news is that we're currently about 20 years ahead of schedule. 2144 may very well come early. Sigh.
