Carol of the Parabolas (Musical Tribute)

The following chart shows the 3-year moving average of annualized private lodging construction per capita (September 2014 dollars).

Woohoo! 3 parabolas in a row!

Hey! Where's the next parabola? Don't tell me it's different this time.

Chart of the bells
Oh, bloody hell
It seems to say,
"Just stay away."
The guests aren't here
Drinking our beer
Too young and old
We too shall fold

Things, wrong, things, wrong
This is our song
Telephone rings
Expenses sting
One came so near
But ran in fear
So much despair
Caught in crosshairs

Problems compound
It so confounds
They still downscale
Like a folktale
Some try spending
Mostly on bling
As the rich sneer,
"Christmas is here!"

"Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas!"
"Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas!"

Why won't they spend?
On without end?
They cannot own
Their foreclosed homes

Anonymous,

Okay, you talked me into it. I'll share a secret. I'm saving the green parabolas until the great IPO.

The Illusion of Prosperity Offering (IPO) will be a wondrous event filled with colorful parabolic rainbows using the entire spectrum of light with fantastical pots of gold firmly anchored at each end!

It should catch quite the premium. I'll have infinite EBITDA growth once I bring in my first penny of income. So what if I have to borrow a penny in order to generate it? ;)
