Of course, sending a postcard does not prove bats%^t craziness. You could instead be bats%^t sarcastic. Joining a club which believes the earth is flat could certainly qualify.
"Oh, yes. I am an associate member because I truly believe. I sent the postcard knowing with 100% certainty that it would not curve as it traveled across the flat earth."
