Elondriel’s Next Motivational Speech

In place of Twitter you would have a King! Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the seven cent Doge! Treacherous as the SpaceX! Stronger than the foundations of Tesla! All shall love me and despair!

No chance he will diminish, and go into the west, and remain Elon.

He did not pass the test. The hearts of men are easily corrupted. And the ring of power trips has a will of its own.

So this is the tale of our castaways
They're here for a long long time
They'll have to make the best of things
It's an uphill climb

I don't believe powell has the courage to stay tough...

Bought into TLT today @ $102.72 with drip. Here's to our boat sailing smooth waters.

We’ve been trying to reach you about your car warranty…

It’s possible that Powell has already been way too courageous.

1. Right foot floored the accelerator.
2. Left foot slammed the brakes.
3. Hands still firmly clutching the detached steering wheel.

Just wish he was able to see out the front window:

1. It’s dark.
2. The glass is covered in mud.
3. Both headlights are burned out.

Or maybe just listen to the current environment?

1. The tires no longer sound like they’re in contact with pavement.
2. Branches are scraping along the roof, sides, and underbody.
3. There are human voices heard screaming in the distance.

But hey, at least the view out the rear window still looks okay. Ha! ;)

I’m terribly sorry. It’s just that I’ve been very busy replying to all the emails I’ve been getting about my Amazon account, my Comcast account, and billing problems with my computer, in general. Had no idea that so many different good samaritans were willing to help me. And all they ever want is my personal information? Seems such a small price to pay. Truly restores my faith in humanity, lol.

The spam calls have gotten so thick that I don't answer the phone unless I recognize the number or the area code matches a customer location from work. If you can't leave a message, I don't need to talk to you.

Who Struck John,

At least the elections are over!

Some polls showed Patty Murray and Tiffany Smiley tied heading into the election.

The Smiley campaign texted me at least 10 times reminding me to vote for her, each time from a different number that I blocked.

I’d like to think that it partially explains why she lost big. Even if it isn’t true, I’d like really like to think that. So I am. The voters ve spoken. They really hate spam texts. Yay! :)

P.S. We still have a landline. We keep it unplugged. Check voice mails on it rarely. It’s the number I give out so my mobile phone gets less spam calls and texts than it otherwise would, and even then I have a silent ringtone for almost everyone. I totally agree that if you can’t leave a message, I don’t need to talk to you! 100%! Must not have been that important.

We're starting to get messages left by the spammers. I think "account locked" is leading by a two-to-one margin.

My favorite today is:

Order Shipment
Please confirm receipt

Yeah, like that’s going to happen, lol.

There’s been quite a rally from the lows in EDV, ZROZ and TLT. I think they will eventually go higher, but I put more in them than normal as I dollar-cost averaged down, so I’m reducing my positions here. My later buys in EDV and ZROZ did quite well. My overall TLT is down about 7%. I’d add back in if they correct enough to make it worthwhile.

Totally understandable. Bond prices have been screaming higher lately. Don’t generally feel comfortable riding rockets.

Although tempted to reduce my position, still holding hell and/or high water though. *shrug*

TLT is creeping up on it's 200 day.

If it were to cross and confirm, what would you do then?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous, that’s always the risk when using technicals to trade. In any event, I’ve reduced my overexposure to a comfortable level so I’ll happily watch the rest of my position go up! Mark on the other hand will be making money hand over fist.

I’m just trying to figure out if/when I want to switch back to long-term TIPS (as seen in LTPZ).

https://schrts.co/QSztYuWH

Since I bought TLT in April, I’ve been doing better than TIPS even with inflation running so hot.

I’d sleep better long-term with the inflation protection, regardless of what inflation does.

And yet, I think TLT is still where I’d rather sit short-term.

Dangerously close to analysis paralysis, given all the unknowns.

The bond market reduced my positions by more than 2% today. I didn’t even have to lift a finger. ;)

Haha. Let the market do the work for you! Brilliant!

I’ll start my dollar cost averaging again if TLT should hit about 103. Will just use a different ETF like EDV for tax loss reasons.
