We are now witnessing Elon Musk’s slow-motion disruption of the global auto industry
If traditional automakers fear obsolescence, they aren’t showing it. “While we applaud and welcome any new competitors to market, BMW remains focused on delivering the most innovative, efficient and technologically advanced vehicles to our customers,” BMW spokeswoman Rebecca Kiehne told Quartz.
Yeah, I bet they applaud. Hahaha!!

I sat in the back of a BMW 750 IL the other day. It was very difficult to clamber in or out without banging my head. The thought did occur "I hope this company rots in hell; what a dismal bloody design."
Still, it might prove a good fit for all the Arabs and Afghans who will soon constitute the ruling class in Germany.
I sat in the back row of a tiny commuter plane once. There was no place to put my legs so, with a bit of magic and spell-weaving, I put them to sleep for the short flight. Well, it was either that or it was a lack of circulation. Hard to say for sure.
Did I mention that I don't like to travel much? At 6'3" tall, this is but one of the many reasons. (I find the grass near my home plenty green enough.)
