A Long-Term Plan to Make Every Human a Real Trillionaire

Despair.com: Foresight

Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those busy proving them right.

On that note, let's make the plan!

The Plan Is Based on Three Assumptions

1. Investment. One risk taking individual investor places one penny in the US stock market. Seeing as how there is $12.8 trillion sitting in MZM earning just 0.075%, surely we can find someone to make an investment in the long-term future of the human race. That's all I'm asking. Just one penny will cover everyone! Anyone? You, sir! The permabull!

2. Real Yield. The US stock market provides a real return (after inflation) of 6%. I'm assured that it always has and always will, so this is hardly much of an assumption. It's the closest thing to a "sure thing" that the human race has ever created. Ask anyone. It's common knowledge.

3. Population Growth. The global population must continue to grow at 1% per year. Most financial experts would agree that population growth is necessary in order to have real sustainable growth over the long-term. We don't want to fall into the trap that Japan is experiencing. So get out there and start making babies!

If we can safely assume these three "sure things" and we divvy up the proceeds of the initial one penny investment evenly, then 851 years from now every human on the planet will be a trillionaire (adjusted for inflation)! It's not just an opinion, it's a fact!

It will be the single most important prosperity event of the financially innovative new world!

It is very important that we stick to the entire plan. Divvy up the proceeds of that initial penny fairly! If we don't, then as seen in the following chart, there may be some very unhappy humans 851 years from now.

921 humans per acre? We better damned well all be trillionaires!

That's especially true for the 921 humans permanently stuck on one acre at the top of an active volcano (as opposed to the vacation resorts of the truly wealthy). Not sure that even a trillion dollars would make them all that happy with their environment.

Sarcasm bubble my @$$! ;)

I forgot to mention one more phrase of wisdom, assuming "The Plan" works over the long-term.

Buy active volcano land now or forever be priced out!

Sigh.

Hey, you don't have to be an evil genius to appreciate active volcano land. I wouldn't mind a nice spot in Santorini myself.

I'd like to think that this post would be useful in showing people the futility of infinite exponential growth that can't quite grok the concept. Keep up the good fight.

I'd like to think that too.

WOW. Worrying about what will happen in 1,000 years. - whydibuy in the comments found here

Unfortunately, life doesn't always give us what we like. It has instead demonstrated the futility of showing people the futility though, which is nice. Oh, good grief, lol. Sigh.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. It saved me from a "Forehead. Desk. Desk. Desk." situation that was all but a sure thing.
