Ownership society is a slogan for a model of society promoted by former United States President George W. Bush. It takes as lead values personal responsibility, economic liberty, and the owning of property.
Stick a fork in economic liberty. It's over.

When (32-bit) double precision isn't precise enough
Since the odds of an 8-sigma event are about 819 trillion to 1 against, a 20-sigma event is obviously going to be so unlikely that it's not even worth talking about; would probably never happen in the lifetime of the universe. Further evidence that those computer models had some serious problems.
So we've got that going for us, which is nice.
