Urban Outfitters' Fall Strategy: Asking Employees To Work For Free
As you can see, URBN is explicitly asking its salaried employees to “pick, pack and prepare packages”—an actual job!—for free, with the only rewards being lunch and transportation.
Free lunch*! Woohoo!
* To qualify, you need to work one 6-hour shift unpaid. Limit 2 free lunches per day. Offer void where currently prohibited by law and/or ethics.

Go TEAM!!
I'm detecting a peak in corporate "team" organization bullshit. It seems to have started about 5 or 8 years ago.
Kinda replaced the mission-statement/employee-empowerment bullshit from 10+ years ago.
People love this stuff tho. anything + bullshit gives move power to the people creating the bullshit and more value to the "anything" the bullshit is applied too.
Anonymous,
Nice, lol.
Remember, there is no "I" in team. However, there is "meat" in team if you rearrange the letters. Free lunchmeat for the win!! ;)
There is "mate" in team, which is jolly handy if you play mixed sports.
dearieme,
Hahaha!
There's also "tame" which is probably what the raises will look like for those who decide to be team players. Those who don't can probably expect worse. Sigh.
