Twenty Degrees of Separation

Washington Drought 2015

Hot, dry weather is impacting stream flows. Statewide, temperatures are running 20 degrees above normal and Western Washington has had record low precipitation since April. Almost 70 percent of Washington’s rivers and streams are running at below 10 percent of normal flows.

Somebody needs to do something! I've heard rumors that the Fed can cure all that ails us. Do they have a technology that allows it to produce as many cooling BTUs as it wishes at essentially no cost? Or do they only have a monetary printing press?

Droughts are a great opportunity for graft.

You are so right!

In times of climate war, you never hear about politician "graft" dodgers, lol. Sigh.

If water is in short supply, drink more beer.
