Four Things the Fed Should Use Next Time to Communicate Their Rate Hike Decision More Confidently

1. A tin can.
2. Another tin can.
3. Some string.
4. A clown horn.

Hey, I'm not claiming that it would exude confidence. I'm simply claiming, based on how the stock market received the Fed's good news, that it would exude *more* confidence.

It worked better if you waxed the string. Or so we were told: that probably kept us out of mischief for half a wet afternoon. Them wuz the days.

dearieme,

Wax would seem to be an improvement. That way the Fed could "wax poetic" on the state of the economy!

The economy glistens like beads of dove sweat on an infinite ocean of liquidity.

Yes!! ;)
