Quote of the Day

September 8, 2015
Would you pay $10,000 for this whale vomit?

The smelly yellow-brown lump is formed in the digestive system of sperm whales and is often used in perfumes, making it quite valuable.

In related news, Cocoa, our pet Shih Tzu, vomited quite a few times since Friday. She had a serious allergic reaction to a vaccine. Had I known that people valued the smell of vomit so much, I would have collected it to help offset the cost of the emergency vet.

Whale vomit in perfume? Seriously? I can't speak for others, but if given a choice between the smell of vomit and strawberries, I'm kind of partial to the latter, lol. Sigh.

Centuries from now, researchers will be attempting to determine what went wrong in our society. Surely it can't be dwindling whale vomit supplies that led to a global panic. Can it?

Forehead. Desk. Whack. Whack. Whack.

Well, honey is bee vomit. From Wikipedia, "It has attractive chemical properties for baking and a distinctive flavor that leads some people to prefer it over sugar and other sweeteners."

OTOH, Cramer is CNBC vomit, and that benefits no one.

Mr Slippery,

I love Honey! Both the sugary vomit and our dog. Girlfriend calls her Honey bee, and sweet pea, and pretty much anything else that sounds similar.

That said, haven't heard her call either of our dogs whale vomit though, nor would I care to eat a spoonful of it. Maybe I'm missing out on one of life's best kept secrets though.

What about Kramer?

JERRY: Kramer, are you drinking that milk?

KRAMER: Yeah.

JERRY: What's the expiration date on that?

KRAMER: September third.

JERRY: The third?

GEORGE: and SUSAN: The third?

KRAMER: Um, Uh, ugh, ...

SUSAN: Noooo... [Kramer throws up on Susan]

I am hard pressed to find another example of people eating vomit, so maybe honey is the exception. How about the most expensive coffee, made from beans found in poo. Exciting excrement!
